5 Ultimate Kids Activities for Perth’s April School Holidays

Bubble Soccer Perth

And just like that, Term 1 is over and the school holidays have arrived! April is a great time of year to make the most of what sunshine we have left and relax with friends and family before winter rolls in.

School holidays, however, can be a hard time to relax as this time of year usually means finding activities to keep the whole family entertained. Never fear! The Bubble Brothers have done all the research for you, and we have dug up 5 of Perth’s greatest activities to ensure that everyone has a great time.

1. The Kids Big Carnival

Tickets from $17 (adults) and $27 (kids)
20 – 22 April
Wanneroo Showgrounds

Your kids will have the time of their lives at this carnival! There will be plenty of rides including dodgem cars and the new penguin obstacle course, as well as entertainment for the whole family including a dinosaur encounter and animal farm. With free fairy floss for everyone, this carnival could be the Perth Royal Show’s newest competitor…

Plus, once you pay the entrance fee, all rides and entertainment are FREE!

2. Scitech Creativity Central

Tickets from $12 for children (children under 4 years enter free)
14 – 29 April
West Perth

If there is any place that you can trust to host amazing school holidays activities, it’s Scitech. This April, Scitech is hosting Creativity Central that will inspire your kids to ask questions and find the answers they are looking for. With interesting activities that will spark some curiosity, your kids will be able to make molecular origami or can even become a Planet Pioneer and grow their own space potatoes! Sounds cool, right?!

If this sounds like something your kids will love, you can buy general admission tickets here or book an advanced workshop here.

3. Bubble Soccer

From $35 per person
Request a time that works best for you
Anywhere… You decide!

The Bubble Brothers have hosted hundreds of kids events and know exactly how to create fun activities for kids of any age and skill level.

While most people love to play bubble soccer outdoors, we know the weather this time of year can be a bit unpredictable. If you’d rather not get muddy, simply request an indoor event.

4. Gelatissimo Kids Gelato-Making Classes

Tickets $10 per person
18 – 26 April

There is nothing like an ice-cream sugar rush! Except maybe learning to make your own ice-cream…

Gelatissimo Fremantle is hosting kids gelato-making classes throughout the school holidays, exactly for this reason. Your kids will learn the ins-and-out of making gelato and will even get a free scoop of gelato out of it! But hurry, there are limited time slots.

You can either book in store or send an email to Gelatissimo with your time preference. Check out their Facebook post for the full details.

5. 140 Kids

17 – 29 April
Perth CBD

140 Perth in the heart of the city is hosting every kid’s cure to boredom these school holidays. There will be free entertainment, free popcorn, free activities, free frozen yoghurt, free robotic lego building, and so much more (for free!). There will be different events happening on different days so be sure to check their website in advance. To be honest, we think the virtual reality games look pretty cool – even as adults!

If any of these activities sound perfect to you, feel free to get in touch and let them know the Bubble Brothers sent you!

We’re all about giving the best experience possible and hope you find some fun, no matter what activity!
