Melbourne’s school holidays are just about over but the Bubble Brothers still want to keep the good times rolling! So, we’ve created a list of tried, tested, and awesome activities to keep your whole family entertained throughout the rest of April – no matter what age. Who’s with us? Check out the activities below!
11 – 22 April
We’re right in the middle of Nature Play Week! Ending Sunday the 22nd of April, this national event hosted in Victoria is encouraging kids to get outside and explore.
While kids who love the outdoors will thoroughly enjoy all the events on Nature Play Week, there are activities for kids who are a bit more cautious. Activities include Melbourne Zoo’s Wild About Play days, bug hunting, and cave exploring.
Events and prices vary so be sure to check out the organisation’s upcoming events page.
30 March – 22 April
This huge Melbourne comedy event is back and is packed with shows for everyone! If you haven’t been already, be quick because there are only a few days left.
Acts include the Croquicky Brothers who will perform dancing, circus acts, and even some upside down drawing that will leave everyone rolling on the ground in stitches! The final night of the show will also feature Trash Test Dummies. This family friendly show explores the lives of three dummies as they take out the trash – sounds like a wild night, right?!

Hurry, it’s your last chance to see this incredible sight before the event closes on the 25th of April! For kids who love art (or even gigantic sand sculptures!) visiting this sand sculpture in Frankston will be an unforgettable adventure.
With an ‘Arabian Nights’ theme, kids will be able to check out Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, Sinbad, and Ali Baba made entirely out of sand!
Location: Kalamunda and Rockingham
Dates: Saturday 15/4 & Monday 17/4
Price: From $67/day
For explorers and history buffs, Melbourne Museum will be home to real Viking artefacts all the way until the August. This activity is also great for adults too, especially those who love the TV series, Vikings!
The whole family will enjoy revelling at real Vikings swords, costumes, and homes, in effort to discover how the Vikings really lived.
While there’s no rush to get to this exhibition, if you didn’t manage to make a day of it during the school holidays, why not treat the family to a historic day out!
We’re all going to miss the school holidays but the fun doesn’t have to end here!
If any of these activities interest you, please get in touch and let them know that the Bubble Brothers sent you!
